Shabbat: An Oasis in Time

Join us in welcoming Shabbat with singing and dancing, eating and shmoozing!

 

Friday Night Kabbalat Shabbat

End your week and bring in Shabbat with our Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat services. Our one-of-a-kind service is spirited and engaging, with Carlebach-style singing and prayer. Join us in singing and dancing as we usher in Shabbat. See below for service times.

 

Community Shabbat Meal – Every Friday of the Year!

Immediately following Kabbalat Shabbat, enjoy a delicious, home-cooked Shabbat dinner. Our community Shabbat meal is a beautiful way to meet others and enjoy a spiritually rich and inspiring Shabbat evening with delicious food, good company, festive song and words of Torah. Registration by Thursday before is required. Cost: $20/person, children under 12 are free. To register, click here.

 

Saturday Service Schedule: 9:00 a.m. All are Welcome!

Shabbat morning services are educational and interactive. Prayers are interspersed with insight and explanation. See below for service times. Services followed by a delicious kiddush lunch.

Children’s Program – Saturdays, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., (for children 2-8)

Our Shabbat Children’s program offers a fun and educational morning of hands-on, interactive play led by a certified teacher. Children learn about the weekly parasha, prayer, middot, and Shabbat through play, story, and song. Registration is not necessary, but children must be dropped off personally by an adult.

 

Weekly Shabbat Class: 2:30 p.m. Open to All!

Energize your Shabbat afternoon with a class to challenge your mind with the layered meaning of the weekly Torah portion. Each class is based on the Parasha of the week or topics relevant to the upcoming holiday. Class is followed by the Third Meal and Havdalah.
